Healthcare Sector

Our team manages matters concerning ethics, digital health, informed consent in clinical trials under Regulation (EU) 536/2014 and personalized treatment, while empowering patients to participate in decisions about their care and to raise malpractice claims. We deliver structured training programs for clinicians and hospital administration on obtaining and recording consent, on confidentiality obligations under Law 3418/2005 (the Code of Medical Ethics) and on patient data protection under the GDPR and Law 4624/2019. We also advise on the European Health Data Space Regulation (EU) 2025/327, on the National e-Health Strategy and on the Greek implementation framework for the secondary use of electronic health data. Our practice further covers the EU AI Act under Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 in clinical settings, in particular for AI based decision support tools, telemedicine platforms and digital therapeutics deployed in healthcare institutions.
