8th Healthcare Transformation Conference 2025

8ο Healthcare Transformation 2025

The 8th Healthcare Transformation Conference 2025 concluded, featuring a host of noted healthcare experts from business, academia, law and technology. Once again, it was a privilege for our firm to have been an integral part of the proceedings, with our Managing Partner Ioanna Michalopoulou moderating two extremely interesting discussions.

We would like to thank Spyros Sapounas George Dafoulas MD, MBA  Antonis Karokis and Agis Georgiou for the deep dives into gene therapies, ATMPs, innovation and AI driven personalized treatment innovation, as well as for exploring together manufacturing, market access and value based pricing. Equally we would like to thank Lilian Venetia Vildiridis, Secretary General for Health Services, Ministry of Health, Pantelis Messaropoulos Manolis Tripodianos and George Papadopoulos for the discussion and their insights into digital readiness for the hospital transformation, smart devices for patient care, AI driven medtech, health policy and reimbursement.

A powerful line up of experts with views that shape business and policy, as indicatively shared below:
▪️In view of the EU Health Data Space (EHDS), it is absolutely essential to monitor regulatory changes in the field of digital health, data interoperability, and artificial intelligence in healthcare, as technology permeates everything, from drug development to e-health tools, patient education, and technology-supported clinical trials.
▪️Patient empowerment is key as true transformation is really about people taking charge of our health; smart devices and medtech are meant precisely for that.
▪️Business wise, the time is now to build a home-grown model for pharma manufacturing excellence, attracting investment and quantifiable outcomes.
